Everything you need to know about renting reusable moving crates.

It depends on the size of your home. As a general guide: Studio or 1-Bedroom needs 20–30 crates, a 2-Bedroom needs 35–50, a 3-Bedroom needs 50–70, and a 4-Bedroom or larger home typically needs 70–100 crates. If you are unsure, order a size up — you only pay for what you use.

Every order includes a 7-day rental period. If you need more time, you can extend your rental at just $1.50 per crate per week. Extensions are billed automatically and you can schedule your pickup whenever you are ready.

We understand that things happen during a move. There is a $25 replacement fee per lost or damaged crate. Our crates are built tough, so damage is rare.

We recommend ordering at least 24–48 hours before your desired delivery date. During our peak season (May through September), availability fills up fast, so booking early is a good idea.

Yes! Each crate has an attached lid that snaps shut securely — no tape or extra supplies needed.

We recommend using painter’s tape with a marker, or sticky notes. Both are easy to remove and won’t leave residue on the crates.

Our standard crates measure 27″ × 17″ × 12″ on the exterior with a 2.5 cubic foot capacity. Each crate can hold up to 100 pounds, which is equivalent to a large moving box.

Yes. Our crates are made from HDPE plastic, which is fully waterproof. Your belongings stay dry even if the crates are left outside during rain or snow.

No problem! Just contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery and we will reschedule at no extra charge.
